I think this makes sense to me why I sometimes don't comment on works unless I have energy, I try my best to give specific compliments if I can,,,

but even if I give just a basic comment like "OMG I LOVE THIS!!!" just know I spent the same amount of time as any other piece, I'm prolly just tired 💀

I study fanart like how I study museum pieces except I can throw out the critique aspect and I have so much joy and love and whimsy doing so (I love museum pieces too, but not when they were assignments to study lmaoo)

I hope my love bombing comments display how much I analyze every detail guys 🙏

I love analyzing and finding every single detail in fanart but then sometimes I get flashbacks to the art history analyses and art critiques that I had to do my first semester in college and I cry

anyways back to angst town, it was actually a few hours inbetween that first scene with mel and hanna and the scene with jeanmelia,,, she was kinda in a state of shock and stuck staring at the (now dried) blood left on her hands for awhileee before jean snapped her out of it

melia and hanna (as well as mina) were friends in the cadet corp, melia was able to save hanna the first time around in trost, but I suppose hanna tested luck (or had too much faith) one too many times

The second panel shows reveals the body as Hanna Diament, who has blood dripping out of her mouth as her lifeless eyes stare blankly ahead. The third panel shows Amelia staring down at her, her bangs covering her eyes. A speech bubble is shown, the muffled/slurred writing can be made out as "Amelia".
