Probably a good idea we don’t have a written constitution. We might know what standards were entitled to and what aspects of life must be protected. Currently the peasants can be told anything and they wouldn’t know if it’s legal or not ?

Occurs to me if these ‘drug boats’ are such a major problem they have to be blown out of existence with those onboard slaughtered. Why aren’t they still being hounded, why aren’t the overland routes for drug running being chased or the private aircraft landing in remote runways ?

Absolutely none. Considering we all have the same background, there is nothing in it to generate those kind of beliefs. I’ve talked with other family and they’ve no idea either. Kinda convinced it’s the people they work with, their ‘friends’ and community they live in.

Me too. Ive a continuous battle with both my brothers….Reform voters, can’t wait till Farage becomes PM …..no joke, they think it’ll happen ! I checked recently, UK is one of very few countries not in a trade bloc. No guaranteed market. Not how life is these days, security in numbers.

From what I know in France, medical negligence is handled by offices in the judicial system. Effectively the government. Information on cases are submitted through the professional bodies doctors have to belong to. Lawyers don’t make any judgements or claims for compensation, they hand hold.
Sounds like a classic - what’s in it for me type situation. They definitely wouldn’t survive in the UK or the EU. We know a lawyer in the UK and and 2 Notaire’s here in France. They do medical claims but it’s a small part of their business.
I only take note of the adverts I do happen to see, do I can make a point of avoiding them when we’re out shopping for whatever. Then I can look for alternatives. I’m a bit arsey when it comes to being told what’s good for me or what I need to spend my cash on.
