So I think it is an interesting project, but very niche. I like the idea of a reworked original style controller with dual analogue sticks, but it’s a project for a bigger company, and with the added barrier of needing to patch (most) games to use DA it’s not really ‘mainstream’ enough.
Yes, you’re probably right - replace the motherboard and mod the existing front shell. But if they were going to provide a replacement front shell too it provides better opportunities. You are then talking much higher cost though, and entering the realm of a full redo only viable at scale.
Probably would’ve been wise to revise the shoulder around the analog sticks both sides, gaining a millimetre or two would reduce interference. Same moving ABXY up fractionally. I’m guessing they are using the original Hall effect unit so not much scope to make the actual stick smaller.
I really hope some legal precedent can be set that enables the wider-spread (re)generative AI copyright theft to be challenged.

Was never going to be an easy game. Making harder work of things than we need to, but number of games is testing the fitness and energy levels of the squad. I’m sure the players would like a comfortable win as much as the fans, not sure there are any easy games in the Prem though (except Spurs)
