State supreme courts are supposed to be the final word on all questions of state law. The ultimate authority on the question in Genser has spoken, and the US Supreme Court ought to butt out. Nevertheless, the GOP argues that the high Court needs to get involved because of something known as the โindependent state legislature doctrineโ (ISLD), a chaotic legal theory that the Supreme Court has rejected many times over the last century.

Out of all the movies to randomly scroll past a TikTok live of, I ran into my favorite of all time (Final Destination 3) which feels like some sort of cosmic sign but I donโt know of what. Watch out for McKinleys, maybe?

We had to throw out an old mattress a while back and for a couple weeks or so I just had it propped up against the living room wall in a sort of stasis/transitionary position while I figured out (and procrastinated) how to deal with it, during which time it became Samwiseโs safe space
