Kinda funny how currently there are folks questioning if spice is necessary in romance novels while simultaneously the most nastiest, smuttiest, most salacious books ever written are currently being churned out en masse. The dichotomy of it all.
I love the trope where there’s a one night stand & they think they’re never gonna see you again then boom, they end up being the boss at your new job. Or boom, they’re your new nemesis! I think that’s why I’ve always loved The Wedding Planner. Boom! They’re the groom of the wedding you’re planning!

Reading slump? I don’t know her! TBH I have audiobooks to thank for that. It used to be hard for me to slow down enough to sit down & read a physical book, but with audiobooks, I can multitask and they have seriously changed my life. I still read and love physical books, but audio has my heart now💖
