I'd say Jellicent. I know it has a kind of derpy design, but Water/Ghost is an awesome type combo and I like how its dex entry describes it as a terrifying sea phantom that's said to have built a castle out of sunken ships.
And I'm done with my Platinum solo at last 😊
Clefairy was level 74 at the end. It took some doing and a few tries, and X item boosts were needed. But I got there.

I made it to the Elite Four on my Platinum solo, and Clefairy is level 69. This will not be easy, but it has a damn sight more coverage than Pikachu.
Still worried about how the battle with Cynthia will turn out.

Update on my Clefairy solo in Platinum.
Maylene has been taken down, and I have 4 badges! Now that those two Gyms that had an advantage over me are done, I can continue and maybe dip into the special movepool from now on 😊
ALBW Zelda. I really liked Hilda and the concept of her attempting to steal the Triforce from Hyrule to save her own land, and seeing Zelda and Link make a wish for Lorule to get their own Triforce back shows wisdom and kindness that we all need to see more of.

I managed to beat Fantina on my Clefairy play, and it took a while. Since my only attacking option was Magical Leaf and I had no way to boost it, I had to shore up my defences with Cosmic Power and use a Dire Hit for those important crits.
Still going good though 😊
