It'll be fine.
It'll be fine.
Maybe it is.
I care deeply about what I do. I won't get to care about this anymore. That doesn't mean I don't want to, though.
So, maybe it is.
Why does this feel like a death?
The work I did can be replicated and doesn't need me to be the one playing it. That's a good thing. As a guitarist I'm generally not trying to assert my own ego. I want what supports the song. That's often a simple order.
I'm really gonna miss being in a band, though. Hole in my chest about it.
Had second to last practice with Sunnbather tonight, joined by the new guitarist. Got to sit in on them working on new material. Went out for beers after.
They're in good hands. I'm glad. I'm gonna be a wreck after this last show though.
Plus a cream hat, yellow roundel on the shoe - maybe something else. Could swap the knit for a dark one and wear the cream Honda jacket instead.
June's cheap-ass trucker hat that shows where the patch fell off leaving a pleasing black rectangle
Pretty happy with how the cheap patch fell off my hat tbh
See you get it
Some sweaters, too. Being a big-body and boob-haver I just want to quit hiding under Overalls while still looking like I have bug opinions and know what a jazzmaster is.
Realizing I can express myself through clothing means first:
Confronting ownership of body
Then:
Finding shit that'll express that I've surmounted this problem
Finally:
Receiving weird capris and PF Flyers
Thank you kindly <:
Thank you so much <:
Tabbed out all my parts for the new guy along with tone notes. Got teary-eyed doing that. Felt like saying goodbye to the songs. Doesn't help that it'll be at the venue I first played live at, too. Full-circle 'n all that.
This was a good ride.
Planning my fit for my last ever Sunnbather show on the 20th.
Gonna miss it. Band's in good hands though.
Believe me, I agree! Should've just linked them to your vid, frankly.
"Is your work ever going back on Spotify?"
A: [expound on every single reason why Spotify is horrible for musicians, listeners, and the world at large]
B: "Sorry, no. Thanks for listening though."
i've never liked anyone this much before
