Lithium is great as long as there's no parasitic draw from the bike. If there's a tracker, always ready dash-cam etc, it could slowly delete the lithium pack just like a lead-acid if left for long enough. Then the BMS will potentially shut the pack down altogether.

I can assure you that's not his position. @neevesy33.bsky.social isn't the kind of person to jump up and down and scream about how every bike is the best in the world, and the vast majority of his followers recognise that he was putting across a valuable, informative view of a bike he clearly liked.
Oh, and for clarity, I think EV bikes are great.
He's not being paid to 'shred around on a lightning bolt', he's being paid to give an informative and accurate insight into the bike. As one of the best riders out there, I value his opinion more than any influencer (and I say that as someone who works for a competing company).
I'd much rather have the balanced, informative style of Michael Neeves than a vacuous influencer dancing around saying what they're told.
In a world where proper journalism is sadly lacking, a decent bike journalist like this is a treasure.
