I’ve decided I will, but I’m gonna wait for a good occasion.
I’ve decided I will, but I’m gonna wait for a good occasion.
received a lovely gift tonight that is older than some of y’all are
I cast the remix to ignition, hot and fresh out the kitchen, mama rolling that d20 got every mage in here wishin’, sipping potions and rum, I’m like so what I’m drunk, it’s the freakin’ weekend baby I’m about to roleplay for fun
I remember it as being positive, but nearly as positive as she deserved.
it no comes off in your hand and goes flying out the window when you drive!
jay has no. good. social media. ideas.
I just want a social media app with good chronological feed that is no fly off when you’re driving
Eloise is a *tragically* underrated Sopranos. Just fucking brilliant top to bottom. And one of the big examples of Edie Falco being ludicrously talented and it was only by virtue of having to share with a talent as rare as Gandolfini that it wasn’t *her* who became that show’s big legendary actor.
I’m thinking Sultanate, Black Grail, and Trench Pigrims would be a pretty fun trio of warbands. Three different faiths and what-not.
it’s a great game and a gorgeous book and the minis are cool as hell (sometimes literally)
And it’s not like outdated rules can’t be used. tabletop isn’t videogames. you play whatever you and your friends want to play.
fucking Alberta
I’ve got files for Iron Sultanate, New Antioch, and Black Grail, but Trench Pilgrims are calling to me too.
I think I’m probably gonna start off with Iron Sultanate, though. My ideal for New Antioch is to do them as the French, and I’ll need to do some kitbashy and conversion work for that.
hell yes trench crusade
broad men, with broad shoulders and broad dreams

Inventing a whole new job title for the thing we want all the least.

(saying “you might as well just use Discord” was to emphasize how different I feel Mastodon is from Twitter / Bluesky, not to express similarity between the four)
Absolutely. They hot different needs. And when Twitter turned Nazi, this was the only thing that had that same kind of functionality (and, better, returned some functionality Twitter had lost over the years, like a chronological feed).
The weirdest thing is how they’ve got deserts in Galar and snow in Alola.
And Unova is just goofy. I know they hadn’t quite figured out what the new, non-Japan regions were gonna be at that point, but wtf guys. :P
…routes, the regions are always a bit flattened out. Alola is probably the only one where I felt they were really getting the most out of the choice of setting. Paldea comes close. But with Kalos and Galar it’s like… why aren’t you doing more with it? Lean into it!
I always found it odd that all pokemon regions have roughly the same amount of snowy places, mountains, forests, deserts, etc. Like you’d think Paldea would have the most deserts, that Sinnoh would have the most snow, etc. But except for Alola and Hoenn having (rightly!) more beaches and water…
decided to Respond To Discourse by ordering a fancy customized super coffee
But has he smashed that like and subscribe button?
Mastodon is just too much work for how most people approach microblogging sites. Like at that point you might as well just be using Discord.
I mean… it WAS the best of the available options. It still is. The fact that all the options are terrible ones doesn’t mean that stops being true. And what we managed to build out of this place using nothing but grit and alf hog is nothing short of miraculous, regardless of how it ends.
Or the whole chain food industry for their relentless use of this marketing tactic. 64 Flavours! Have It Your Way! Make Your Own Pie! etc.
Hell, people spent decades saying that lots of consumer choices was what made capitalism more Freedomy than communism.
