He can't get rid of us as a people. We've been here through Ronald Reagan, Bush Jr and Snr, and transgender people are still here. And that's just here in the U.S. There were and will be casualties, yes, but it's on us to minimize them.
One dead trans person is one too many.
I understand the sentiment behind saying "We've survived worse, we'll survive Trump again too", but many of us DIDN'T. While it's true that the trans community *as a whole* will survive, but we shouldn't have to just sit back and ACCEPT the injustice. Stay proactive, and take care of one another!
