A lot of authors choose not to focus on reviews for their mental health. They may read them once a week, month, or not at all. Or else it can be an unhealthy obsession. So, by tagging them, you are taking away their option to distance themselves and focus on what they need to.

Yes. That's sadly is Alberta. There's a town in Ontario, Norwich, that also is hiding behind the "we only display municipal stuff" but are also loudly homophobes. Also, I should clarify, in my town they are more like lamppost banners than flags. Like ones for Christmas or tourism.

My town decided not to do a rainbow crosswalk because of cost, visually impaired people, and risk of vandalism. So instead they put lamp post display flags of the inclusive pride flag all downtown. It's cheaper, reusable, and unless you get a ladder It's hard to vandalize.
