One of the craziest things my work has me contend with regularly has to do with language. Like... not even talking about my coded works or anything like that. I mean just regular English to Commons English.

And like, I dunno how to help some folx with that. Context and nuance? Critical thinking??

It's that I made my choice 21 years ago... and though I went back a few times only to suffer more? I did make my choice, and my conviction has only grown stronger as I've learned.

If they return, then they will have a problem only they can sort through and it isn't me or my own anymore.

Seems I'm finally over it, or getting over it at least, even though it does still sting with~

All of that was compiled nightmares... even the humiliation of walking away in sunburns and rags...

It was humiliating...

So too did the people I shared it with also become as such...

But the exaggerations? The attempt to illicit those first and~

Here in* Portland, there sure as hell isn't a Bugatti in the front lawn, my sons aren't there and neither was Zwei, not to mention everyone didn't sound like a cross between King of the hill and Beavis and butthead. There also wasn't a megamart, a local mart, the 7/11 and a bunch of other shit~

Larchwood House... perhaps it was the House, in some aspect, that acted as an anchor or point of no return in my life, and I am haunted by those hot summer days back home...

Except now... that house isn't two stories and there isn't a tiny home hotel around i lt. It isn't in here~
