Loving this presentation for personal reasons. As someone who experienced an early menopause, but having so far received zero healthcare relating to it, and having been repeatedly told I'm 'too young' for HRT, I agree that it's a healthcare area with massive need.

Spoiler: It's not just a matter of forgetfulness, but of how the scientific field chooses what is interesting measurable and researchable.
If the goal is to understand the soul, we must also know the consciousness at birth, through approaches that ignore the cultural/behavioral complexity at birth.
The article analyzes fundamental books in the field and shows how birth - an evolutionary peak moment of risk, pain and power - remains transparent.
So why does science that claims to explain the human soul and behavior simply ignore the most powerful and transformative moment in a woman's life?
