Yesterday I attended PHL Vision Zero conference, where leaders from across the region gathered to share their enthusiasm, policy, and advocacy for safer streets and affordable transit.
The establishment wants my generation’s labor but not our leadership. They want us to be their interns, assistant staffers, canvassers, voters, social media influencers, but the moment we run for office, suddenly we’re “too young.”
Funding our communities > funding foreign wars
The DNC will never abandon its corporate donors. Without corporate money, the political establishment wouldn’t run at all. Asking them to campaign without the promise of corporate kickbacks in office is asking them to give up the very system that sustains them.
