In 2025, I went to four conferences. The 1st was about translations so Fordoński 2000 was quoted. The 2nd was about Sarbiewski so it was Fordoński 2008 and Fordoński 2010. The 3rd was about Forster and it was Fordoński 2020. The fourth one was in Funchal, Madeira. #humblebragging

It really doesn't matter what one believes when it is a lie. At least one should have the decency to keep such belief to oneself...
People who can find the quotation in a work of Forster can very well disagree. As for the rest... You really need to learn all the time and one of the things that are good to learn is to admit a mistake.
One thing is certain - it is not a quotation from Forster, regardless of what some people have been saying for a quarter of a century.
It is a quote from Joseph Campbell...
Joseph Campbell.
We must be willing to check our sources before posting so as to know when we quote Joseph Campbell.
Joseph Campbell as a matter of fact...
Still Joseph Campbell...
The life of E. M. Forster can be a source of inspiration for all artists. This time it is a song inspired by Forster's love affair with Mohammed el-Adl. areconnoiter.wordpress.com/2026/01/16/d...
