Finally got to call in at Milroy’s in Soho last night. Plenty of interesting choices behind the bar. I made myself the below mini flight and their 9yo Campbeltown was star of the show. It tasted like a nice mix of Glen Scotia and Longrow.

Yeah. Also I have more than enough unopened whisky to last a year so by all rights I should not really be buying anyhow. It’s themed group tastings which get me buying given their limitations.

This is my third attempt

I suspect it will end up limiting me to about 8 based on average spend.

I'm not one for new year's resolutions. but i am reducing my whisky budget this year to £650. That should be fine. But history tells me it won't be.

Is anyone any better at sticking to whisky limits?

Lovely stuff. Dominated by rich sticky toffee pudding.

For anyone passing RAF Mount Pleasant it’s £95.

It’s interesting. I saw it available this morning but let it pass. I see why they made it with the additional capacity, but it’s coming at a time when the 10yo is available again, so kind of feels a bit late to the party. The prices seems fine at under £50. Might buy one in a few years without fuss.
