Just checking in from the coast path again. I had the company of stonechats on today’s run, hardly a soul about otherwise which was perfect. Mostly avoiding the news at the moment as it’s a depressing sh!t tip isn’t it.

It’s been great, seen lots but made time for watching the world go by with a Turkish tea or two.
Here with my 82 year old mum! But we’re here on our own, not part of a tour or anything. Had no hassle and feel pretty safe.
Yes found it easy using the very frequent trams, and the ferries are ace for going further afield. Walked miles too of course.
Last one from Istanbul and it had to be a cat. Waiting at a tram stop in the sunshine. I noticed a bowl of biscuits near the seat. They seem well looked after in this city?
