Evan Halbert just threw what's basically a pachinko machine into a euro game.
What a wild ride Pinball Galaxy (working title) was, with where your balls land determining what actions you get to do on your turn, and you have the ability to customize your board with upgrades as the game goes on.

The "we apologize for any inconvenience" is just another dagger.
Think what we have to go through to finally be ourselves, from being ostracized in coming out to endless paperwork to get documents that align with who they are, just to get a letter like this saying you're a felon for using an ID that correctly identifies you.
You'd be furious too.
I know we're gonna both be busy at Gama, but coffee and venting would be fantastic.
It would be great for my humanity not to be a subject of debate on nightly national television, that'd be fantastic.
Board game media should talk to each other more about best/ethical practices. Publishers should be aware of these practices. GAMA (or some official association) should be mediating this.
I'm so tired of the "we got ours" mentality when trans women of color were literally the reason that "they got theirs", yet so many see fit to just go ahead and pull that ladder right up.
Rayroads is probably the last game of what I've been jokingly calling my Dry-Erase Period. I have a couple other games in the pipeline that might use markers in a minor way but as far as "marker games", this is the last one barring some sudden inspiration. 🧵

Here's the thing I will continue saying every time this came up: Kamala Harris did not mention trans people in her campaign. She went out of her way to avoid it. She dodged every question on trans rights. And then she still lost. So what Newsom wants is *open hostility* to trans rights
I can get behind that.
