In Russia, used zinc coffins are sold for scrap metal to buy booze or drugs.
Many families decide to bury the body in a wooden coffin, so the zinc one is left lying around or carelessly buried. Scrap metal collectors then dig them up and sell them for 600โ2 500 rubles.
