Some SwaDric dynamic facts? Analysis? IDK man I'm just rambling about my own ego issues and how I project it on Swann and how it works with Cedric Swann and Cedric are both prideful people with self esteem issues, but it shows up differently Cedric doesn't really apologizes easly (unless it's for the king, but by example, in "Sidekick Clio", he didn't apologizes when he dsetroyed the set -by accident sure, but he let his pride of magic took over and it ended up ruining the backdrop-) and keep insisting about how he's the best sorcerer in the whole kingdom. He takes an extremly prideful facade. That's his mask for his hurt self esteem. Swann is extremly self loathing to a point where it impacts his interactions with others. He's also pretty narcissist (not in the NPD term, I am talking simple traits) genuienly thinking he's better than most people around ("everyone else treats Cedric badly, I'm one of the rare ones who respects and cares for him = I'm better than everyone else here"), keeping him in a "I am a terrible piece of shit BUT I am also better than a LOT of people" paradoxal switch of thoughts that never stops.

Both are (well WERE in Cedric's case) egoistic traits for similar reasons, aka "I got hurt many times, so now only my own gain matters". But Cedric evolved because Sofia was around to help and Swann was also here for him, but Swann only helped and care for him because he put Cedric on a pedestal, putting Cedric's struggles above his and was also viewing him as above himself (as a person). To Swann, Cedric was the only person that was "worthy" of being cared for and helped. Swann tried as much as possible to shut down his own issues to be there for Cedric, and it was genuine but some days where brain gets bad, he was having unconscious moments of "let me focus on you so I don't have to think about myself, helping you shows that I maybe am not that much of a pathetic fuck". I want to make it very clear, Swann's love for Cedric is GENUINE, but on the worst times you can't always think clearly and sometimes do things for not the best reaosns.

Cedric did notice Swann's issues and he did learned to help. Swann genuienly wants to be better for Cedric and tries to, with baby steps. While Cedric USED to think as Swann as some simple annoyance that sometimes fed his ego (he litterally tolerated him because Swann wasn't shy about praising him and trashtalking anyone who disrespected him), he quickly felt that Swann was more than just this, despite their differences of "status" they are two people who enjoy each other's company, and he ended up genuienly caring about Swann and wants to be here for him as well. And Swann knows that his own self esteem issues is hurting Cedric, in some way. That's why he tries. Both still have issues. But they both work on it because they love each others. They are here together to support their journey, without all relying on the other. I might do a similar post with Nomortrix (I mean Nomortrix is also me so he has the same issues lmao) later but yeah that's all I wanted to talk about it k bye
