The joy of ttrpgs, to me, is that anyone can hack them. After years of hearing people say "wouldn't it be cool if" about digital games and then sighing at the sheer ludicrousness of work involved, a medium where someone can suggest something at the table and then you can just do it, is bliss.

Many use RPGGeek for this and their tags work well enough.
A database wouldn’t be revolutionary, just another marketing tool. RPGG seems popular enough to have an impact.
