Clearly I should have argued harder when we were recording.

That’s an oversimplification, imo. The Predator movies are less about a Predator hunting things (almost always humans), than they are about people trying to defend themselves against / try to kill a Predator. And Predator as boogeyman is better than Predator as hero FOR ME.

Also, allow me to introduce you to a little thing called NUANCE. I enjoyed P:Badlands, thought it was very fun and exciting. I also would much rather see more movies like Prey in the future, rather than more Badlands. (3/3)

Doesn’t mean Badlands sucks, but it’s not what Predator (as a franchise) has been for decades. (2/3)

Pardon me for taking this as a taaaad bit disingenuous, as I believe you know good-n-hell well what “not a predator” movie means in this context, which is that the movie veers far away from the formula that all other predator movies have used to good/great effect. (1/3)
