'In the Ramtop Villiage they believe that no-one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away, until the clock he wound up winds down - until the wine she made has finished its ferment, until the crop they planted is harvested. The span of someone's life, they say, is only the core of their actual existence.' Terry Prachett. Author and Humanist
Thinking of Terry this week.
It's hard to believe it's been 11 years.
GNU Terry Pratchett.
He was our patron, and he is sorely missed.

I think, on the whole, #Boro play better with Browne on the pitch. He takes pressure off Hackney and also somehow manages to get forward and be in the positions our glaring lack of proper striker should be.
I'd have him start all the final games. #UTB

To be honest it's happened in every game, it's just that early performances were so good it was easy to overlook. Each missed pass was outshone by a 40 yard cross-pitch perfect pass; every poor bit of positioning beaten by a goal saving challenge.
Without the good, you're left with concerns. ๐คท

As I type the UK is generating less than 15% of our electricity from fossil fuels.
Imagine how the Iran oil crisis would be playing out for the UK if we hadn't invested in renewables.
It's not "we can't afford net zero" it's "we can only afford net zero". It's now a national security imperative.

I remember going into this Six Nations with so much hope. And now I'm pretty sure even I could saunter through the gaps in the England midfield to score a try... Backwards... Blindfolded... While gently crocheting a wee little bonnet for an elf that lives in a tree and bakes cookies ๐คฆ๐ป

Of all the versions of Donkey Kong available, from the arcade onwards, the dual screen Game and Watch LCD version is peak DK.
All other opinions are incorrect. Mario told me.

Now feeling homesick. Lol.

Even if it was accidental, it's fantastic Strelec scored with the charitable sponsor on the shirt. We should consider rotating one player per game with our charitable partners on. It would be great for visibility.

Think of the endless hours we spent learning the answer to "How did WW1 & WW2 start?"
If there's a silver lining to current events, "Because the President liked to fuck children" will make for a much shorter lesson when learning about how WW3 started.

It's an astounding statement from a party leader. Trump levels of self delusion. She's fitting neatly into the increasingly demented shitshow of Tory leaders of the past 15 years.
Oh for the days when the worst you could say was they were self serving cowards that shagged dead pigs.

I wonder if they'll finally see that themselves now?
Probably not. There'll be excuses.
Anyway. Well done @greenparty.org.uk

Sad news about Rob Grant. I was 12 when #RedDwarf came out, the perfect age to find a TV show that your parents didn't know of (I was too young to have that opportunity with The Young Ones.) It had a big influence on me.
I might pick up the novels tonight. Highly recommend if you haven't read them.

The second and third richest men control Google.
The fourth richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
The fifth richest man owns The Washington Post.
And now the sixth richest could soon take over both Paramount and Warner Bros.

I wonder if the real loss at Coventry wasn't the 3 points or even top spot, but the pretty clear game plan laid out on how to disrupt and nullify our tactics, which every other team will have noted.
I hope I'm wrong, but this could be a really scrappy run in.
