I almost feel like the Dolphins would have been better off signing someone who is ass to a 1-year deal for cheap and tanking for a QB in next year's draft, which should be fairly flush. If this fails, they're just postponing a potential rebuild for an additional year.

I feel like the whole buzz on Malik Willis getting another starting opportunity is mostly based on vibes and the fact that the QB FA market and draft is middling to poor this year, so teams needing a QB might as well take a flyer on him. Could be awesome, could be 2 horrific years fully guaranteed.

I want to draft Taylen Green and use him at WR as well as try to develop him as a backup QB. He is very similar to rookie Josh in how he plays. Loose cannon arm, but runs like a damn gazelle.

Hancock is also a bit of a wild card depending on how he progresses. He's the kind of player Leonhard might have targeted in the draft if he'd been around last year.

Sounds like he's a guy who has improved a lot year over year, and could be a good replacement for Taron.

Losing Reggie Gilliam sucks but the Pats pulled a Mack Hollins and gave him a way bigger contract than I think he probably should have gotten. It'll be really tough to make up for what he does, especially on our special teams units. I have no idea what FA or draft fullbacks are available. Oof.
