Paramount settled Trump's frivolous lawsuit against 60 Minutes. Stephen Colbert rightfully spoke out about it. Now he's getting fired.

Reminder that Paramount needs approval from the FCC to be acquired by Skydance — a media company founded by the son of billionaire Trump-backer Larry Ellison.

Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.

If the Senate's budget is enacted, millions will lose health insurance, millions will fall into poverty, and the national debt will increase by $3.3T.

All of this to provide a major tax cut mainly to the rich and big corporations.

There is no justification for this.

Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.
