I woke up after a whopping four hours of sleep. Back to bed I go, to dream of cardamom spiced Scandinavian cakes and cookies. Mmm cardamom.

Such a smart and easy solution to the “headache inducing stinky odor control trash bags”! Like, duh. We use a box in the fridge all the time for odor control. This makes so much sense to me!

Ohhhh this is not a bad idea, as I have like five small boxes of baking soda (I use it to clean a lot). You are smart and I’m stealing this idea. 😁

I feel like I’m just dipping in and out of my skyline. It’s annoying, because I know I am missing things. But it’s the best I can do right now.

I agree. I definitely do not use air fresheners, because they also give me a huge headache. I’ve heard poopouri isn’t bad as you use it before you go. I’m wary though, because who needs the headache?

YESSSSS. I became disabled and largely homebound pre-covid, but the rise of online activities during it was a godsend. It killed me to see those snatched away once the world decided to move on.

I realize that to people outside the PNW this is just an interesting news item, but if you're in the PNW, where tracking orca pods is a local religion, this is basically like being visited by alien gods

I’m still very intrigued by this dish. I may have to wait until next month to try it, but it just sounds freaking delicious.
