I understand what they are trying to do. I'm offering a solution that could be implemented by a level of administration somewhere between the White House and the ICE recruitment offices.
They are so blatantly targeting the basement Call Of Duty cosplayers that want to have a real-life "experience" without the risks and dangers of military service. How about simply mandating and enforcing higher enrolment standards (drug, physical and cognitive testing?) to reduce the pipeline?
We need more of this kind of "fired-up" energy. Use it as inspiration when you go into your Holiday events with more right-wing individuals. These conversations are our chance to "make the world a little bit better" this holiday season.

Montreal's Plateau neighbourhood (very densely populated, mixed-use area) mandated that all corner buildings that were renovated would have to house businesses on the ground floor. It makes a huge difference, even if it's a web-design firm or hairdresser. Much more human-scaled liveable area.
It will be very cool when we can have multiple types of these renewable batteries on a local/regional circuit to build stability and resilience within a renewable energy grid. This part of the future is bright.
