Israeli Refuseniks Forsake Army Despite Post-October 7 Nationalist Frenzy Israeli refuseniks, conscientious objectors, won momentum during the anti-Netanyahu protests, but the post-October 7 world is a new test.

Since the beginning of the war, there have also been some anonymous refusniks who were injailed, as well as many who've gotten out through other means, either for ideological or non ideological reasons. There have also been many reservists and soldiers publicly declaring their refusal in letters.

The list of public refusers to this war is gettign quite long now, with Oryan Mueller released earlier this month after camulative sentences of 60 days. Tal Mitnick, Sofia Orr and Ben Arad refusing earlier this year, serving 185, 85 and 95 days respectively. With more to come!

3 Refuseniks are entering military jail today. Soul Behar Tsalic and Iddo Elam are declaring their refusal for the first time. With them is Itamar Greenberg, who will refuse for the 4th time after already serving for 105 days. They will be Joining Yuval Moav in jail, who has done ~100 days as well.
