Iβm never going to hear βVoices Carryβ without flashing to him and Karen Sillas. π

Criterion box set, itβs the least they can do for the amount of free advertising they got from that show.
The crazy thing is Matt keeps saying they shot season 3 and itβs just been stuck in Viceland purgatory.
Objection, your honor, strangling the witness.
I know what a TERF would think this sketch is doing, but in plain fact it is the most accurate and sympathetic portrayal of gender dysphoria Iβve seen, from 35 years ago or now.

I donβt know if this specifically is fake but reports of his standup say that itβs very much his feelings on the subject.
Youβve really fucked up worse than anybody has ever fucked up if you hate trans people but made Kids in the Hall, a machine designed for egg-cracking.
I think Iβve cracked it and Iβd love to compare notes.
βIce Skatingβ a 10/10 banger.
He had to make sure people werenβt completely thrown when they went to Killer Joe after Lady Bird.
Gosling played a comedic part dramatically and she played a dramatic part comedically, a less obviously bravura feat but a trickier and stickier one.
The haters arenβt right because theyβre using this (flawed, kind of nonfunctional movie) as a cudgel against the perfect masterpiece Tricia and Ethan already made.
It came and went pretty quickly but I wouldnβt be surprised if this new one doesnβt last a second weekend.
You gotta watch her in the Tricia/Ethan movies, though the one currently out is kind of trial-by-fire.
Beautiful lesbians, some funny goofs, the gradual pervading sense that abuse and exploitation are just the way the world is run, less subtly than ever. Is that Honey Donβt! or my Bluesky feed?
I personally believe they should be called βbloopers and goofersβ.
The word blooper comes from the early days of radio, from around 1926. Used in baseball by 1940, it meant "hit a ball in a high arc over the head of a fielder". It has been used as a noun from 1931.[1]
The only one I can think of is entirely for reasons outside the song, the Eurodance song over the end credits of Uncut Gems.
Rogue and Wilderness are very good pulp, Wilderness in particular is invigoratingly nasty. Real excited for her Red Sonja, a shame I can't swing the one night it's playing in theaters.
I would love for "DTV Inside Man sequel directed by an awesome trans woman" to be good, but instead it's leftovers with a funny commitment to tying itself in knots to be a direct follow-up.
Greta Gerwig on the set of The Magicianβs Nephew, which has started shooting.

Such a paucity of information about ass-nailing. π
Any time she can carve out to act is as important to me as what she's directing. I can assume you wouldn't like White Noise (though it is *very* Barbie, just in an "egghead academic losing his mind" way) but her Babette is extraordinary stuff.
π I get it, most of his non-Gerwig scripts are varying degrees of unpalatable, but I owe loving her to loving him and his gradually softening spitefulness. And if I *have* to pick one of them as a director, it's still him.
Greta Gerwig and Adam Sandler on the opposite sides of a fence in a promo still for Noah Baumbachβs Jay Kelly
@maxrebosroadie.bsky.social Need to make sure you know that Greta Gerwig is playing Adam Sandlerβs wife in the new Baumbach.
Iβve had idle, not very convincing questions about whether I was a little too mean towards Blonde, this is a resounding affirmation of the opposite.
Greta Gerwig in a beautiful red dress in front of a big Mistress America standee at a 10th anniversary screening
Noah Baumbach in front of the same Mistress America standee, doing the βYou know I had to do it to βemβ pose.
She was fearless and crazier than him. She was his queen. And god help anyone who dared to disrespect his queen.
My First Film army needs you Joe.
