Driving is stressful and time consuming and quite dangerous.
Sitting on a (clean, well maintained) bus or train is relaxing and you can read a book or watch the football or do some knitting.
Just think how nice it would be if there were 90% less traffic on the street you where you live.
Honestly letβs just get rid of personal cars immediately. Everyone who can walk five minutes should have a bus 4x an hour: Everyone who canβt should have a free (electric) taxi ride. If we collectively chip in what we pay for leases, insurance, petrol, MOT, road tax it would certainly be affordable.
