Australia’s ranked choice electoral system is very different than the USA or UK’s, so labor is unlikely to lose due to votes for the Greens - Voters aren’t going to rank liberal above labor because they think Albanese is too right-wing.

What’s your theory of change here? Do you expect that public opinion will shift if left-wing people are less critical of the Australian labor party? Do you think criticism of labor makes people not vote?
The decay and collapse of empires is really a quite common phenomenon. It’s hardly surprising. The only thing historians will debate is the precise mechanisms of this particular case.
IDK. Probably you would have thought about it and decided you weren’t? Is the idea that someone might suggest a gay boy contemplate his gender identity really so distressing that you need an Atlantic think piece?
If anyone has suggested I might really be a girl, I don't know how I would have responded
I'm going to say it. Cisgender white gay men have advanced in social status so much faster than other members of the LGBT community that some of them are verging on becoming the oppressor while still telling themselves they're oppressed.
The data you are citing is incomplete and likely unreliable. It is also does not address major issues like housing or employment discrimination. Assuming the trend exists, it might just be due to internal displacement from dangerous states to comparatively safer ones.
I can see you’re trying, but the language you used is not seen as neutral by trans people. It is difficult to understand what would offend a group you are not part of, since it does not affect you. If you want to know, you need to listen to people in that group.
You are extremely ignorant about the terminology here.
What you are describing as “advanced missiles” are the weapons commonly known as “hypersonic missiles”. I think you’re confusing them with ballistic missiles that have a hypersonic terminal velocity and cannot manoeuvr.
"within" and "on the same street as" are actually very different
Disgusting. All our credibility on the world stage, in the bin.
lol. Bombing for peace. Totally, man.
Stay mad, pope fanboy.
Wow, Ukraine flag emoji catholic immediately reduced to stale memes. I had no idea I had such advanced posting technology.
You don’t, though. Your military is focused on jet aircraft. Your missiles are behind and your drones are merely competent. The Iranians can touch you, because there is no reliable interception system for their advanced hypersonic missiles.
He might also be in a secure location without the necessary equipment to do a televised speech. I wouldn’t read into it.
Iran has among the best drone warfare and intermediate range hypersonic missile technology on the planet. It is incredibly difficult to defend against, especially the missiles. Claiming they have ”no gas” is a bad analysis.

Most Iranians will fall somewhere in between supporting the current supreme leader without any reservation, and being so opposed to the government that they support their country being conquered by a hostile foreign power.
In my opinion, it’s your view that is reductive. Are there Iranians in Iran that have issues with their government? Yes. But I think the idea that they support a historical enemy committing acts of aggression against them is projection.
I’m sorry, but I just don’t agree that any major faction within Iran is in favour of being bombed by the US and Israel.
I’m sure you believe that.
Also, there are not currently any reputable reports of the casualty numbers from the recent unrest, and their causes are not established. The reports of “10s of thousands” are generally from Western NGOs that are not reliable.
I’m sure you do, but that’s not representative either. Your network is inherently biased towards critics of the government who are sympathetic to the Western bloc. The vast majority of Iranians in Iran do not hold those positions.
People who left Iran aren’t representative of people in Iran.
If Iran has been days away from a nuke for 30 years, and still does not have a nuke, I can only conclude they don’t want one.
counter-point - It does mean that.
I don’t honestly give a shit if they want to make some wombyn-born-wombyn event, but I hate how they frame that exclusion as a default. It’s not.

I think preferring certain pronouns and putting them in your email signature is actually quite culturally normal. Nobody really minds.
I’m just a girl. Standing in front of a not-boy. Asking them not to draw another fucking troonjak.
