Without ZBTB18, IL-9 can no longer promote MBC development; Enforced ZBTB18 expression rescues memory defect due to IL-9.
(2/4) Key findings: without T cell-derived IL-9, MBC development from GCs in primary responses. IL-9 induces ZBTB18 in MBC precursors in GCs. ZBTB18 promotes cell-cycle exit, survival, and GC departure by suppressing genes responsible for cycling, death and GC aggregation.
