The airports are closed, so people can’t fly out. The embassies are closed, so Americans have no place to go for help or advice. What a shit show!

F-15s are older technology, but that’s still a lot of money lost. Also, the crew survived, but ejecting from a jet can cause long-term health problems and can end flying careers.
