We’d love to add more gaming devs to our starter pack so let us know and please share so we can add you in 😁
(Hopefully there’ll be an option to request to join starter packs soon, @bsky.app?)

Before we wrap up this year and everyone starts heading home to either see family or move from house to house. I want you to know, I know it's not easy. For us LGBTQ+ people, it's not always the best time of year. It's complicated and sometimes even isolating.

This year might have been one of growth and self-discovery for you. Maybe you’ve embraced being more comfortable in your skin, felt more confident in your queerness, or started living your truth as non-binary or trans. But heading home to people who might not fully understand or accept that truth can feel daunting, even scary.

Please remember this: You are valid, loved, and seen—always. You are not alone, even if it feels that way sometimes. You’re part of a huge community that supports and loves you for who you are. It’s okay to set boundaries, to step away when you need a moment, or to seek out the people and spaces that make you feel safe.

If things feel too heavy or you need support, here are some helplines and charities you can reach out to:

• Mind Out: A mental health service run by and for LGBTQ+ people. Visit mindout.org.uk for online support or resources.

• Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline: Call 0300 330 0630 or visit switchboard.lgbt (10am-10pm daily). They offer a safe space to talk and can provide guidance or just a listening ear.

• Samaritans: If you need someone to talk to about anything, call 116 123 for free, 24/7.

• Mermaids: For young people and their families who need support around gender identity. Visit mermaidsuk.org.uk or call 0808 801 0400.

Above all, be kind to yourself. Take the time you need to breathe, ground yourself, and remember: this moment doesn’t define your worth or your truth. Your Gaymers family are cheering you on, rooting for you, and ready to stand beside you.

Take care, and remember—we’re here for you. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
