I'm not sure that he could admit that to himself, but who knows.

I wish that we'd never heard of the term malignant narcissist, and hope that we only hear of it in the future when discussing this disaster of a person. Plus a few current tech bros.

Evil.

Threatening to destroy an entire country?

Totally.

Don Giovanni or Italian girl in Algiers.

Both great, totally,totally different.

Which I am certain that you know.

Schnappsie absolutely hates Chopin. We have no idea why.

Signing out now. That's my screen time limit.

Happy to continue the conversation tomorrow.

Okay, my last post for today. Because of my brain pain.

This took me more time than I'd like to admit before I got it.

For context from up thread:

Wiggie was a dome head. Best guess is Staffordshire Bull Terrier, plus sausage dog, plus???

He would sit up like a prairie Porg. For at least 15 minutes.

We would boop him, but he was a Weeble.

Our table had a glass top. The nosemarks under the table: epic.

Awesome.

And I wish you and Mike many awesome bagels.

LA:

We already had Puccini. Starved, abused. He treated me as his saviour. Pierre was still in Bay Area, so just me.

Later that year, we brought home Ludwig (Wiggie), a street dog.

I have much more to say. 😒

We obvs selected those names, and now I'm reminded that we need to get the piano tuned.

07.03.2026 20:57 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

Yes.

When were in LA, we adopted two doggos, both with a wiener dog chassis, but obviously mutts.

At that time in LA, the estimate was 45k dogs roaming and 45k in shelters.

We adopted ours from a no-kill shelter, which opened up space for other dogs. They prioritised dogs about to be euthanised.

Gah, *any

Not *all

I can't speak for any Iranian. Because I'm not Iranian.

Bad typo.

Not surprisingly, having been Born in the USA (please read the lyrics), I was told that the US never lost a war.

Don't get me started on WWII.

It totally the Americans who won the war. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I was born when the Vietnam war was supposedly over.

Over the years, I've read a lot about that time in history.

There's one song and within it one guitar riff that changed the course of history.

Well, that's just my opinion, man.

I'm not telling the Tennessee Holler this. They know.*

But people in Iran have been marching, protesting, not abiding... for months? I mean major protests.

MSM was amazingly quiet.

I obviously can't speak for all Iranians. But another country didn't need to bomb Tehran for change to happen.

Ah, yes. Boxers have some resemblance to the dome head breeds.

Also bully dogs are misunderstood.

Dogs, with rare exceptions, are good.

It's the people, but the breeds take the blame.

Oddly, it's only my computer that is the biggest problem, even with changing settings.

Phone isn't bad, tablet even less of an issue. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Still, I'm minimising reading.

Which is really, really boring.

At least my wiener dogs snuggle.

And the meds make me sleepy af.

06.03.2026 18:32 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Oh, no. Bully breed? They have seriously thick skulls!

My family doctor signed me out of work for six weeks. I just had an appointment with a concussion specialist.

As much as I wanted to teach and be normal... it was the right call to sign me out.

06.03.2026 18:32 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

I really think that you were right.

Someone has a voodoo doll of me.

Slipped on ice. Between my knees and crutches, it could have been worse. But, I hit my head. So... now at a concussion clinic.

πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Probably shouldn't actually face palm.

30 years and 30 pounds ago, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. I couldn't weight bare for over 2 months.

And then I had 35 teams meetings in one week. Mostly starting at 7, because the meetings were across all time zone.

Put out the recycling at 6:30, on crutches.

06.03.2026 14:21 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I don't know what was worse.

Whooping cough. Or trying to be able to digest food, because of the antibiotics.

So, then, just before a trip to USask for a ln external review, I decided to go to my hairdresser. Up a flight of stairs.

Going down the stairs, skipped a single step.

06.03.2026 14:21 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Lordy, it's been quite a year.

Probably better in a call. Going to a concussion specialist now.

April to August:
Five antibiotics, including Cipro

Drs' best guess: whooping cough

There were so many people in Southern AB with respiratory illness. They didn't swab. Thus, five antibiotics.

06.03.2026 14:21 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Please forgive typos, etc. I'm seeing a concussion expert in an hour.

I tried to give attribution. Couldn't find it.

In my first year of undergrad, I had a few required courses.

In one, I my assignment was to give a few minute speech about someone who I thought was impeccable. And do research on that person.

I selected Walt Disney. Hooboy.

Another student selected Mahatma Gandhi.

Quite a difference.

Insanity.

How about just losing yourself in the music.

Yes, problems, but as a 21st century FEMINIST, I can still distinguish between song lyrics and life.

Don't expect everyone to be perfect.

Carney reaffirms Canada’s support for strikes on Iran β€˜with regret’ - National | Globalnews.ca Carney said in Australia that the growing Middle East conflict 'is another example of the failure of the international order' and that Canada's support 'is not a blank cheque.'

"I'm really sorry that I'm supporting an illegal bombing campaign, so sorry, incredibly sorry, but anyway, carry on boys, gotta get them Iranians before they hypothetically get us in the maybe future" is not it, my dude. Milquetoast diplomacy sucks so much.
