Towards the end of September, I had the chance to be one of the last people to buy a yoyo from Shawn Garcia, whom passed away sometime in October 2025. He was so kind to me in the DM exchanges we had and thus, this particular throw holds great emotional bearing to me.
I really dislike how forgetable I am in yoyo, but that is really just ego and nostalgia bringing about said thoughts to the surface.
I recognize it, and try to forget and merely accept my place in this wonderful community of slinging circles.
