Aanstaande donderdagavond, tijdens Film by the Sea, is de premiere van Koude Grond, een documentaire van Fifi Visser waarvoor ik de muziek mocht schrijven. De premiere is uitverkocht maar voor de screenings op 21 en 23 september in Cinema Middelburg zijn nog kaarten.

After a quiet summer, the schedule is exploding again. With premieres, an album launch, a tour, and a radio appearance. Grateful that it's still going strong.

As of today, ‘February’ is out everywhere. The track is part of the upcoming album ‘Another Month Another Year’, arriving this September.
‘February’ carries a kind of muted glow, a wintry restraint, a pale sun over a frozen landscape, a breath between endings and beginnings.
Voor Studio Haak & Visser schreef ik de muziek voor Henge#2, een korte docu over het nieuwe kunstwerk van Charles Avery in Domburg.
85 jaar geleden, op 17 mei, werd Middelburg getroffen door oorlogsgeweld. De binnenstad ging grotendeels in vlammen op door Duitse en Franse artillerievuur en mogelijk ook Duitse vliegtuigbommen. Ik maakte in 2010 deze versie van Theme from Wiek voor het herdenkingsconcert in dat jaar.
Op 12 september verschijnt mijn nieuwe album 'Another Month Another Year'. De aansluitende tournee van zeven concerten begint in De Spot in Middelburg. Kaarten vanaf nu verkrijgbaar!

It could make for very claustrophobic listening, but Eisenga finds pathways which make a record of melancholy and longing (All About Jazz). In September, I use the bare minimum of means. The theme begins with just a single note.
