Microsoft office literally underlines spelling mistakes and I agree with most of its grammar little blue squiggles. A comma here. Maybe I typed the same word twice. Why do i have to feed my paper to AI? Zero marks on my paper. Zero feedback besides “Hey go use this AI grammarly thing!”.
My professor just told me my paper lacks professional communication. As in something is lacking in spelling or punctuation.
They want me to use grammarly. What? So you can flunk me? Claim I plagiarized?
I rather drop out.
🥺 I’m super sensitive lol I wrote a book. Didn’t publish it cause “I’ll be ready to publish when I’ve written 2 or 3 books. To give myself runway”. Then I wrote the books and novellas and and and. Oh I guess it’s time to publish. And now it’s just something everytime. I felt “safer” sitting on books
It said some pretty straight forward info. I personally took it as “wtf is wrong with you? Wasting our time… ugh. Just delete the book.”
It was something like “oi if you do this (more than once?) we won’t let you post preorders anymore”. Like I get why it’s there. It’s not reliable if my book had like 100 preorders to move the publication date. Customers don’t like that. But come on it has like 5 and it’s my first time using this lol
Learn from my mistakes.
Amazon preorders can’t be rescheduled more than a month from the og publication date. Also, when you do try to reschedule or cancel it you get a nastygram about it. Dont mind me while I curl up and cry.

When I walk home alone at night, I walk in the middle of the street against traffic so I see cars coming & so I don’t get pulled into an alley.
Sometimes I sing so people look out the window… So someone is watching me. Or their ring cameras see or hear my last location should I disappear.

I took a trip with some bookish discord friends to 3 museums in order to write some scenes I left TBD in my works in progress. I can’t imagine a better way to write. We basically visited a fae castle, howls moving castle and a vampire museum. Today may have been the best day I’ve had in a long time.
