Sculpting is done, time for retopo. The dagger is turning out fine. I'm trying very hard to stay consistent with my work, while continuing to learn. This project has been just reinforcing what I learned in the mace and sword.

Some renders from my latest character!!! Please give me some love #gamedev π

Based in Vancouver, Canada. Love working on Sci-Fi, fantasy, historical, horror, or anything weird. Love exploring and establishing new IPs or refining and reinventing old ones.
No dev or artist gets a chance to be seen or show what they have been working on without others sharing posts. It makes a difference and can lead to them finding work, selling prints and getting wish listed for games and itβs not much but itβs better then doing nothing and dose support them.
Glad I'm not alone!
Incredible details!
I recently watched 18 hours of zbrush lessons. length is definitely not an issue for me, as long as I'm learning the longer the better!
Now this is going to be a good watch! Thanks for sharing
I picked this up during the initial launch of it. It's a great source of inspiration.
Trying to keep the momentum with my projects, practice makes perfect right? Here's the block out, and the start of the sculpt of the next project.
Finding a good community of artists can be a challenge, I've really had a hard time getting meaningful feedback the last few years.
Maybe I'm just in the wrong spot, but a lot of the time I feel like I'm speaking into the void.
While scrolling I thought these were ancient hieroglyphics!
Thank you!
Finally finished up the sword, once again thanks to Tim Bergholz's lessons. My biggest weakness is still clean sculpts in zbrush, but for my second project in the software I think it turned out pretty good.
Used 3dsmax, Zbrush, Substance, Marmoset and Photoshop
Here's one more shot of it!

Need to remember to repost my art every once and awhile.
I'm currently working on texturing the DC-15S Blaster to go along with the clone helmet.
First bake on to the low poly pretty successful. A few issues but nothing I can't fix. πͺ
Retopo and unwrap finished. Overall pretty happy with my progress, but definitely looking forward to texturing it.
With sculpting finished it's time for a bit of retopo. A nice project for the afternoon.
I've been deep into zbrush this week that's it's starting to affect me.
I was scrubbing my leg in the shower, and my brain told me that symmetry was applied on the x axis, so you only have to scrub one leg. Symmetry will handle the other.
This was incorrect.
Seems sensible!

I think my name is too long and my attention span too short.
Linux keeps looking more and more promising. I've got old rigs I still use daily that have windows 7 on it. Just surprises me how functional it is, in ways the newer "updated" windows keep managing to mess up.
I'm definitely terrified of switching to 11. Holding off as long as possible.
Feeling a bit more confident with zbrush, little peak at what I'm working on.
Make sure to enjoy some Canadiana while here.
I love this building!
That's a new word for me. I thought it was a metal band at first.
Never hurts to try something new, I've been learning zbrush with the help of Tim bergholz's tutorials.
Here are the results from the first one! While I made a bunch of mistakes, I'm looking forward to the next one.
