I constantly listen to my own tracks, either to critique it or just listen to it casually. I don't think it's weird to consume your own works. I think what's more weird is people who only look at their own works without seeing and trying to understand other people's creative vision.

I'm using "MALLET FLUX"! It's a pattern sequencer of a bunch of mallet instruments. I've just found it that day and gave it a shot for the added textures. It's really nice and very soft ^w^

Now I'm super inspired! I don't think I can make such a cool soundscape as that, but the drum work is super interesting!

Making syncopated rhythm like this is really fun. I wonder if this is the appeal of stuff like Math Rock and the like...
