This is now the best tattoo I have.
Bro, when I was in collage and going through my libertarian phase, I once made the actual argument "there's no such thing a basic human rights in nature". I was literally a 23 year old idiot. I can't believe that same argument is in this book almost verbatim.
You could say that I'm a fat communist but I prefer the term full bodied red. π·

I quilted a symbol of Arkay from The Elder Scrolls. It's not the best quilt but in really proud of how it turned out.
Fuck. D'Angelo died.
Don't celebrate Dick Cheney's death, he has simply returned to the seat of his power (hell)
Happy Halloween!β¨π
The fit was good today.
Me when Theo Dimas finally shows up in any season of Only Murders In The Building.
@ifbookspod.bsky.social's Eric Adams episodes are the only good podcasts.
Pusheen snuggled up in a blanket watching tv.

Frankenstein is one is my favorite books. GDT os one of my favorite directors. GDT's Frankenstein was generously a 7/10 for me, and almost only because Jacob Elordi was phenomenal. Just, absolutely perfect. The rest just... didn't hit for me. Glad others are loving it though.
People see politicians as the leaders and decision makers. Itβs the ones who fund their campaigns and buy them off that hold the real power.
Got my natural hair color back finally.
It's been 84 years since I updated this thread and I'm only on 108. But hey, it's okay to take breaks, even long breaks. This is a passion project, not a chore.
@danaschwartz.bsky.social giving my man Aethelstan his due.
Was Twitter not like that? (seriously asking, I was never on twitter)
The funny thing is that I had no idea who Bad Bunny was like a month ago and now idiot racists throwing a tantrum have indirectly made is so that everything I know about Bad Bunny now is all of the great things he's done and how nice he is.
Marshawn Lynch is my favorite actor.
Wild that the racist of the internet have to keep learning that Puerto Rico is part of the US. It's like every 3 years at this point.
And yet the prevailing feeling about fat people on the left (and the right)? Disdain, blame, disgust, ridicule.
Genuinely, if you care about human rights and justice, you should also care about anti-fatness and work to fight it as well as other prejudices.
Take food as an example: Seems like it should be obvious to any left-of-center folks that accessing healthy, high quality food across the life span is not something everyone can do. Who has less access? Poor people. Who is more likely to be fat? Poor people.
Fatness is much more prominent in some demographics than others because the malleable facets of life that contribute to fatness are unequally changeable across demographics.
Anti-fatness says many things: "You are unhealthy and I can tell by how you look. Your health and body size are within your control." None of which is the full truth.
Fat-shaming is inherently a right-wing ideology. It is discrimination and prejudice against a group based solely on aesthetics and stereotypes. And it furthers a personal responsibility narrative about fatness that simply does not hold up to scientific or statistical scrutiny.
I really don't understand why left-of-center folks have yet you abandon fat-shaming.
