Also, a huge flaw of the administration, and Dems overall, is that they can’t seem to shake the NIMBY/enviro arm of the party that refuses to compromise on energy, esp re permitting reform.

So, as great as it is to see this, it’s irritating that the point is openly acknowledged after the fact.

I listened to this over the weekend and a low point for me is that while yes, a lot was accomplished by DOE and the admin, 1) voters clearly didn’t know/care and 2) a lot of the benefits from their work to improve energy in the US won’t be realized until well into the Trump term.
