This is absolutely brilliant.
This is absolutely brilliant.
I brought this up and was told “and what if you have a blind student” and I said “I have taught a blind student and we found braille scores months in advance, we didn’t tag PDFs.”
We have this (a plug in, I think) and there is literally no way to make a musical score register to it as accessible. Our students take multiple semesters of courses devoted only to analyzing musical scores!!!

Update I am in Lancaster and so far an Amish guy said “hey” at me, I ate a donut, and I found a really unprecedented number of salon orchestra arrangements of songs from the 1915 operetta Botschafterin Leni

I'm going to check out a random archive of a fairly minor Viennese composer that, as far as I know, basically no one has ever looked at because it's, you know, in Lancaster.
I'm going to Lancaster tomorrow; mostly for work but I'd appreciate any tips on food or stuff to do!
But I got my "y'all" in an honest way (went to a cold liberal arts school, then got a humanities PhD, and then an academic job in a remote part of the South)
