Adore this fuckin game and that is some hella great artwork.

A black bear. They're actually pretty skittish animals, despite the rep and fear around them. A little bit of loud noise and clapping is usually enough to get 'em to leave a campground.

I grew up in Cali with that kind of heat. It's rough, and exhausting, even before you get to the fires. I really think it's not for everyone and don't half blame folks who want to stay away from it.

One of the more frustrating parts of conservative rhetoric about people being scared of trans people in womens' bathrooms is that people are scared *because conservative figures told them to be.*

Started reading "Is a River Alive" by Robert Macfarlane. A masterclass in describing nature. Highly recommend.

and

The supreme court has been a driver of inequality for a very long time. I would read Supreme Inequality, it's a great dive into the subject.

What we pay for the value of jobs in our world is flipped upside down, I swear.
