I find it kinda sad how AI scientists reaction to potentially creating a new lifeform is "OH MY GOD THIS THING WILL KILL US ALL!" like chill! If we create a lifeform we gotta be friends with them! Like this is the closest we getting to finding cool space aliens and y'all panicking???

The end of this arc is great (ends at volume 39 I believe). And the arc right after it is a very eventful arc!
An extension of that is that good politics is about making sure everyone has power and autonomy. It's when power is stripped from the power hungry and distributed to people who need it. It's also about the distribution of power.
