First, this short is the best thing I've read forever. Next, when I read your "entertain to entertain" I wondered about it, but think now that it's actually quite fitting. We might do well to sidle up to reflecting upon our views. We don't want to inadvertently evoke their defensiveness. 😁

You set the bar high for your first. Looks grand. 👍 How did you season your filling? There's quite the controversy regarding spices and proportions.
I've sprinkled walnut halves over my apples and poured a bit of maple syrup through the pastry slits before baking. Experiments are fun! 😊
