Aye, it’s a belter of a game. I only play it solo and it’s not getting old.
Been quite a few weeks in Scottish brewing. Overtone, Brewdog and now Innis & Gunn all into administration then rescued after a fashion. Sure there’s been many more, Epochal anyone? And sure there will be many more.
Not great.
In the meantime I’ll be very much enjoying this.

Really enjoying this play of Too Many Bones. First time playing Gasket. Paired with Nugget who is a favourite. Tyrant is Marrow who I’ve also not played against. Looks nasty but guess time till tell.

I really like D&B so I couldn’t pass it up and it was exactly as described. The G&C was subtle and bone dry. Was recommended to have it at RT as opposed to chilled and I can see why as you would just lose pretty much everything.

A couple of very interesting ones from Twice Brewed. Couldn’t pass up the Dandelion & Burdock sour and the Grape & Cherry is subtle and very dry.

A visit to Housesteads at Hadrians Wall yesterday. Stunning weather.
Stopped in to Twice Brewed which I have to admit I wasn’t aware of.
Really lovely pint of a Luminosa IPA, a great chat and an offer of a few very good tasters made sure I left with a few cans.

Pulled pork low and slow.
Love cooking on the Kamado. With just a couple of vents you can dial in a temperature and it’ll sit steady at it all day long. This’ll probably be a 6-10 hour cook.

Yeah, the lager was cracking but haven’t had the IPA or Ale yet. Probably tomorrow. The BA Plain Dark is lovely. The straight up Dark is a firm favourite. Still have a couple of the Complicated Dark BA. Don’t know if you had that one but it is also tip top.
Would seem they put some plain dark beer in a barrel.

Newbarns is currently my favourite brewery. Every thing they brew is 👌🏻. Well worth searching out if you haven’t already.
Also I’d mark the untimely passing of my favourite glass which earlier in the week came off worse vs a granite worktop.

Voidfall is top tier for me. It’s fabulous.

It looks great, but I just wish it took up more table space. 😂
Seriously though, I’m sure it would be right up my street, but I’ve already got a couple of huge games, Voidfall being one, which I’ll only ever play solo. Would love to give it a go but alas there’s no more room at the inn.

It’s honestly a coincidence that I happen to be waring this T shirt.
This beer is a completely different version from the era the shirt is from. Don’t get me wrong, this Longer is lovely, but the OG version is still one of my favourite beers ever. Was around 12% if I remember rightly #bskybeer
