When the world gets to be too much, I go to the woods.
And this is why I took today off. Highly recommend it if you’re able to.
The good news is that I purposefully took tomorrow off because of the time change.
Scarlet cup shaped fungus on a small piece of wood. Dried leaves surrounding it.
Ran across a scarlet elfcup and honestly, I just kept repeating the name of this little fungus to myself as I continued on my way.
Afraid I didn’t see any elves though.
I still see mine.
We just switched to Microsoft 365 from Google Workspace. I prefer Google.
IT guy closed his email to me with “Happy 365-ing!”

We had a highland cow on the loose. Various sightings posted throughout the day. Luckily it went back home after a wander around the cove.

Oh, I definitely understand. He also adds peanut butter, oat milk, a banana and other fruit. It looks disgusting, but he drinks them about every day.
The roasted tomato quiche sounds delicious. My son uses spinach for his smoothies.
Woke up this morning to 18F, but feels like 1F with the wind. Just this past Friday I was wearing short sleeves and it was 70F. Effin’ hell.
Initial cost of prescription medication today = $242. After going to drug manufacturer’s website and downloading a “co-pay” card = $10. 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah, not a fan of Duolingo. I’m trying out Mango Languages app for French. It’s possible to access it for free if your library has it. As for books, I like the Practice Makes Perfect workbooks. Also, I love listening to podcasts.
