It should not take a court order to get a toddler out of a prison.
Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.
His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.
Kidneys make more than pee- in stickleback fish, they make sticky glue! Dads use glue to build nests and protect eggs from microbes.(And look like dogs scooting doing it π€£)
But some stickles have lost parental care, do they still need glue? π

A black and white coelacanth swimming slightly forward and down in a tight C curve. The style is strongly reminiscent of Japanese style koi tattoos.
I wanted to try my hand at the fairly classic koi tattoo but with a personal twist. This one depicts a coelacanth which are lobe-finned fish known as "living fossils". They're relatives of our own fish ancestors prior to our lineage leaving the water. #art #coelacanth #tattoo #tetrapod #paleontology

I truly adore the chaotic energy of this graphical abstract. The MS Paint of it all! The tattooed buff ant pushing a buggy! In the era of Biorender/AI everything, this stands out more than ever. Bonus that the science looks cool too π
Big beautiful fish!
Image shows a barren landscape with dark, undulating hills under a stormy sky. Overlay text criticizes Sen. Lee's stance on public lands, quoting LaikeN Jordahl from the Center for Biological Diversity. The organization's logo is seen at the bottom left.
The good news: The Senate parliamentarian has ruled against the sell-off, meaning it's been removed from the budget bill.
The bad news: Sen. Mike Lee is vowing to continue his efforts to sell off vast tracts of Americaβs public lands.
We have to keep the pressure up. β‘οΈ biodiv.us/handsoffpubl...
