The most important “fix” to stop the suffering of so many animals. In the United States, the number of unaltered cats that are reproducing 2 or 3 times a year way outnumbers the number of dogs that fill our shelters and are euthanized. The only humane way to control the cat population is TNR.

Drop trapping is a fantastic way to catch multiple cats or difficult cats to get into a box trap. These are two of the 6 cats in this backyard colony. We eventually TNR’d all 6. They are now living their best life, cared for by the homeowners. TNR works! ❤️🐾

Kittens are so stinking messy. We use paper pellet with some Kitten Attract sprinkled on it. And they won’t eat it either, which is worrisome with clumping litter. But you have to dump it a lot. ❤️🐾

A litter of rescued kittens.

It took us two days of searching a warehouse to find this mama and kittens. We were able to rescue them all. Kittens will stay with mama a couple of weeks then she’ll be TNR’d and back to her colony. TNR works!!
